This sitting includes your formal pictures for the Mechanicsburg yearbook, taken at school. The basic cost for the sitting is $30. We take about 6 formal photos and show them to you. If needed, we can take a few additional photos to make sure you get one that you like. The cost of retouching the photo for the yearbook is included in the sitting fee. We deliver the picture to the school in time for the yearbook deadline. You may order copies of the photos for yourself after the sitting if you wish.
What to Wear for Formal Pictures
Guys - a jacket and tie is appropriate, or you can wear a dress shirt and tie without a jacket. If you don't have a jacket and want to wear one, we can provide you with a basic black jacked that you can borrow for the pictures. We are not able to provide dress shirts - please wear your own dress shirt. Guys, unless you wear facial hair, you should shave before your appointment.
Girls - a formal sweater or dress is good, or you can wear one of our drapes. Because your shoulders are uncovered while wearing the drape, please wear a cami or tank top with thin straps if you want to wear the drape. We also have pearls available if needed. Wear makeup for your pictures. You don't have to do too much - just enhance your natural look.
Payment
The sitting fee is due on the day of the appointment. We accept cash, checks made payable to "Camera Box", and all major credit cards. If you are unable to afford the sitting fee, please contact geoffs@camerabox.com and ask about senior picture yearbook scholarships.
