Pictures will be taken in the auditorium at the High School.
The fee for the formal sitting is $35. We take about 6 - 8 formal photos and show them to you on your phone or other smart device. If needed, we can take a few additional photos to make sure you get one that you like. The cost of retouching the photo for the yearbook is included in the sitting fee. We deliver the picture to the school in time for the yearbook deadline. You may order copies of the photos for yourself after the sitting.
What to Wear for Yearbook Pictures
Guys - a jacket and tie is appropriate, or you can wear a dress shirt and tie without a jacket. Camera Box has a limited number of black jackets, but if possible please wear your own if you have one. We are not able to provide dress shirts - you MUST have your own dress shirt. We also request that you wear your own tie. Guys, unless you wear facial hair, you should shave on the day of your appointment.
Girls - a formal sweater or dress is good, or you can wear one of our drapes. Camera Box provides the drape if you want to wear it. Because your shoulders are uncovered while wearing the drape, please wear a cami or tank top with thin straps for the formal sitting. We also have pearls available if needed, Wear makeup for your pictures. You don't have to do too much - just enhance your natural look.
Additional photos available for an additional sitting fee charge
The required sitting fee is $35. If you want some additional pictures to order for yourself, consider adding a 3/4 length sitting taken indoors for an additional fee of $15, or an outdoor sitting taken at Children's Lake (weather permitting) for an additional $35. If you select either of these options, please bring along an additional outfit. Digital copies of your pictures and traditional portrait prints are available for sale online after picture day.
Payment
The sitting fee is due on the day of the appointment. We accept cash, checks made payable to "Camera Box", and all major credit cards.
If possible, we strongly encourage a parent to accompany the student to the sitting.
