Graduation is one of the most rewarding and extraordinary times of a young person’s life. This single achievement and ritual stays with us for the rest of our lives. Trinity, Camp Hill and Boiling Springs are three of the highlighted area high schools who have many extraordinary alumni and programs.
Trinity High School is recognized for their excellent sports program and has several noteworthy alumni. Matt Kranchick and Chris Crane are both NFL free agents and Jonathon Smith and Christian Kuntz had successful college football careers after Trinity graduation.
Camp Hill High School has an excellent academic history and has the alumni to prove it. William Daniel Phillips, class of 1959, is an American physicist
and shared the Nobel Prize in Physics for 1997 with Steven Chu and Claude Cohen-Tannoudji. He was also one of the thirty-five Nobel Laureates who signed a letter asking President Obama to provide a stable $15 billion Pennsylvania support for clean energy research, technology and demonstration
Finally, Boiling Springs High School also recently had a memorable graduation ceremony and on average has a graduation rate of 91%! Just recently one of their students, Lillie Brown, won the state championship in the Girls AA 800 meter race. Their yearbook staff has also of late been recognized by Balfour Publishing with an Award of Excellence honoring its accomplishments in yearbook design and coverage.
Congratulations to all of these local area high schools and, “Your schooling may be over, but remember that your education still continues.”
